The One-on-One Buddy Ministry serves children with special needs (birth through college-aged) and their families at the Raleigh, Holly Springs and West Cary Campuses. We partner a volunteer buddy with your child to give them encouragement, support and assistance.

Parents, please know that our special needs ministry volunteers serve with patience and love as they help your children learn about God in an environment where they are safe, accepted and cherished. All of our volunteers have had background checks so you can rest assured that your kids are safe while you enjoy the worship service.

From a parent with a child in the One-on-One Buddy Ministry:
"Since Claire's birth, it has been hard for us to worship as a family. So much so that we stopped attending church for several months. We constantly worried about her care and could not leave her in other church nurseries because of her weaker immune system and physical problems. My husband and I can now worship together and share time knowing that she is safe and cared for by someone who knows her issues and accepts her as the child of God she is! We are thrilled to be a part of the Buddy Ministry and feel that her buddy, Cathy, is part of our family!" – Carolyn M.

From a One-on-One Buddy Ministry volunteer:
"I know the day will come when Tristan (my buddy) will no longer need me as his buddy, but there is no doubt that I will continue my relationship with this beautiful family. My relationship with God has strengthened since I began volunteering with this ministry. I see the love of Jesus Christ shining through Tristan and was lucky enough to participate in his baptism.
